My name is Nihed Djeddi, but everyone calls me Nani—a nickname I got from a friend when I came to the United States. I loved it because it's cute, and it stuck! Growing up in Algeria surrounded by the rich traditions of my Amazigh heritage, I was fascinated by the ancient beauty rituals that had been passed down through generations of women in my family.
My grandmother and mother were my first teachers, showing me how to blend precious oils, prepare healing masks, and understand the power of natural ingredients. These weren't just beauty treatments—they were connections to our ancestors and celebrations of our cultural identity.
